Fundraising

Throughout the year members, parents and carers run a number of events to raise money to ensure the financial viability of the ALD Club. Without these events there would not be an ALD Club.

Christmas Cards

We have previously sold Christmas Cards with designs by our members, and we are actively looking for a company to sponsor future printing.

Local Businesses

We have over the past few years been very fortunate to receive sponsorship from a number of local companies (AME Group, Rumours Art of Air, Brand Nutrition, Benton's plumbing Engineering Ltd, TA Innovative Waste Solutions & Anston Parish Council) and our thanks go to these organisations.

Raffles

A number of raffles take place throughout the year and raise a very useful income, so WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR PRIZES TO BE DONATED TO THE CLUB. These would be gratefully accepted.

Sponsored Walk

One of our most successful fund raising events is our sponsored walk which we arrange on a on an annual basis and is usually around Thrybergh Country Park which you might feel is not a great distance. I can assure you for some of our members this is a very arduous task in deed and they do well to get round. Weather permitting we finish the evening off with a picnic in the park.

Suggestions

We would be only too pleased to receive further ideas for fund raising and hear from anyone willing to offer their services in helping the ALD Club to raise funds. We are also actively looking for someone to sponsor the purchase of electronic equipment for the club - laptop, tablets etc.
